Home of The Times Atlas of The World An article in the latest edition of GeoInformatics looks at the use of geographic data and Geographic Information System (GIS) technology in the creation of our published atlases and maps, such as The 12th Edition of The Times Comprehensive Atlas of the World, published in September 2007, and the forthcoming The Times Universal Atlas of the World (publishing September 2008). “Perhaps the biggest benefit of the digital revolution is the freedom it has given cartographers to be truly creative, both in what they produce and how they produce it, whilst still being able to work to exacting standards of accuracy and authority represented by Collins Bartholomew products and data.” GeoInformatics July/August 2008 (pages 10-13)
