Today, April 6, is Tartan Day, a celebration of Scotland: its creativity, innovation, heritage, business and people. In North America, Scotland is being promoted through Tartan Week or Scotland Week. And, a spectacular calendar of events will mark Scotland's first ever Homecoming Year 2009, celebrating the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns' birth and the nation's great contributions to the world.
