WIN! A set of new Collins/Nicholson Waterways Guides

Our latest set of Waterways Guides are featured in a competition in this months Canal Boat magazine. Three complete sets, each worth £113 are up for grabs.

The new editions, published last month include a number of new features, including full postcodes for locations included in the guides, ideal for use with sat navs and notes on, and photographs of, wildlife and plantlife to be found along the waterways.

Robert Nicholson published the first Nicholson waterways guide in 1969, forty years ago. That guide, covering the Thames, prompted the then British Waterways Board to persuade Nicholson to publish a series of guides to the inland waterways. In print since their inception, Collins Nicholson waterways guides have been expanded and regularly updated, but their purpose has remained the same: to provide useful and comprehensive information for everyone who enjoys and uses the inland waterways.
