Mapseeker Exhibition of Historic Maps

A stunning collection of reproduction historic maps dating from the 1500s to the present day is now on display.

The reproductions, based on originals taken from the
Collins Bartholomew Historic Map Archive include many notable and striking examples of cartographic art and design through the ages.

Items include early world maps, Europe from Roman times, Victorian town maps, railway maps of Britain, battle maps (including a very rare plan of the Battle of Waterloo), British Empire maps and world maps before/after the World Wars.

Mapseeker Archive Publishing, Walsall Council, Aldridge Local History Society and Aldridge Village Business Partnership have all worked together to stage the exhibition.

Located at 24-32 High Street, Aldridge.
13 November till the end of December.

From 10am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
Admission is free.
